Term Dates
Each year we welcome 150 students into Year 7 from over 45 different primary schools. Students will sit an entrance test and those who achieve the required standard are able to apply for a place at DRHS. The entrance test is commonly known as the 11+. Students usually take this in the September of Year 6.
Further information about our school is available in our school Prospectus

If you are moving to the area or considering moving schools and wish your daughter to be considered for a place, she will need to sit an in-year admissions test. At Denmark Road the in-year admissions test we use is a CATS test. Results are profiled against the cohort of entry and equivalence of standard must be demonstrated.
Admission enquires for all students aged 11-16 years should be directed to the Admissions Officer, via email to admissions@denmarkroad.org, including in-year applications. You will be advised of the next testing opportunity and details of the process and our waiting list.
Our Sixth Form comprises students who have studied at Denmark Road up to the age of 16 and welcomes students to join us from other schools. Annually around 75 places are offered to mobile students.
Entry for the Sixth Form is based on a student's performance at GCSE level or equivalent qualifications. You can find further details in the Sixth Form section of our website.
