I came to Denmark Road because the course content was really clear and I was able to choose options to suit me.
Even though I was new to the school, I found that it’s really easy to get along with everyone and all students want to do well. This made working together easier as we all shared a common goal. The shared and independent study spaces were really helpful, particularly when meeting a deadline, as I had dedicated space to work in.
I had a great relationship with all my teachers and it’s easy to communicate outside of lessons.
All students in the Sixth Form have PE at the same time so it gave us great opportunities to get to know others in the Sixth Form and enjoy both playing sports for fun and playing competitively.
Changing schools to join Denmark Road Sixth Form showed me that change can be good, you will overcome any worries and difficulties and the school helps you learn to be much more independent. I am now studying Law with Business at the University of Exeter and look forward to where it will take me.
